Roast 'N Toast Family Diner is a traditional diner with unique menu items that will have you coming back to try each and every one from Spiced Apple Pie French Toast to our own R'NT Burger and R'NT Rancher Sandwich. Still offering old-fashioned milkshakes from the original milkshake maker and counter-style seating. So take a seat, have a float and give one of our infamous 'evil' buttertarts a try! The restaurant is owned and operated by Julie Coleman who has over 21 years experience in the food service industry. Her goal is to strive towards providing Roast 'N Toast customers with a homey, friendly atmosphere with great and affordable homemade food- for a small town feel in the city. Roast 'N Toast is located in the heart of the city on an ever-changing Ottawa Street, one block west of Market Square. Established as a destination Dairy Bar/Restaurant almost 80 years ago, this diner is not lacking nostalgia. Come for a wonderful breakfast or lunch and then go check out the other independently owned businesses Ottawa Street has to offer. Bring a book from home and come in to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed, premium ground coffee while you relax. There is always 2 hours free parking on our side of the street for your convenience.
